Some returning thoughts ..
Okay - Just as I thought it might happen -
Obama went to the left of Hillary to win the primary, and is now going to the Center for the general election.. this might be dangerous. Kerry tried this, and got his finger burnt.
I still think Obama might win, it will depend in large measure on who is the VP. General Clark?

Welcome back...you raise a good point...Gen Clark's comments are pretty controversial but right on the money...having an honorable military/navy career (McCain) does not directly qualify someone for the prez spot, no offense to gen clark of course..he has proven his quality in more ways than one.
As for Obama's lane change for victory, this might be a tactical error quite Kerryesque in principle although more subtle in practice...he should be trying to create democrats more than woo the "unconvertibles"
I like this "..he should be trying to create democrats more than woo the "unconvertibles".." Obama was never extreme left. If anything by drawing more to "center" he gives the perceived notion that he was left before ... When will the Dems ever learn?
